Eric Johnson
I serve as the New Media Specialist at Monticello/Thomas Jefferson Foundation, with responsibility for helping develop the Foundation's social media initiatives, new web site, and electronic event marketing. Prior to this position, I worked as Web Services Librarian at Monticello, focusing on the ways the web can be used to connect people to the universe of information related to Thomas Jefferson.
I've worked in museums and libraries for more than 20 years and am fascinated with the ways technology can be used to support non-traditional learning. I've got an MA in US History from George Mason University and an MS in Library and Information Studies from Florida State. I also serve on the board of directors of the Lewis and Clark Exploratory Center.
